Cebu Bikers Forum Rules
General Rule

Only one account per person is permitted. If a member is discovered that he/she is using multiple accounts, the member will be terminated and possibly get banned from this site.

Cebu Bikers website is about people & friends that share the same passion for bikes/motorcycles. Therefore, posts should be composed in such a manner that respects persons of all race, color, religion, gender, sexual preference, motorcycle brand or maker preference, or financial status.

Make sure that your avatar does not violate any of the Rules. Persistent violations will result in a ban.

Keep all commentary civil and be courteous at all times. Constructive criticism is welcome, but insults directed towards other users or the site administration team will not be tolerated. Coarse/insulting language will not be tolerated. The purpose of this forum is to facilitate growth, not to belittle others. This also applies to Private Messaging.

Keep all posts on-topic. When posting or creating new topics, make sure that they are in the correct forum. Off topic posts are discouraged and strictly prohibited on selected categories. Should you have an urge to write an Off-topic post, precede it with an "OT:". Senseless and irrelevant posts are discouraged. If you don't have anything good to say, don't post anything at all. Off Topic posted in the “NO O.T. allowed” forums will be deleted automatically without prior notice.

Do not pretend to be/represent somebody else or one of the administration staff. Your account will be deleted if found to be in breach of this rule.

NO illegal activities/discussions. Posting topics that promote or engage in any illegal activity under Philippine law is strictly prohibited. The illegal sharing of copyrighted material is prohibited. Posting links to sites which offers "sharing" of copyrighted materials is prohibited. Violations will most likely result in a ban.

No posting of links to any site that contains warez/copyrighted software/materials that can be downloaded illegally.

Make sure that the topic you are about to start with have not been discussed already. Please use the SEARCH feature first. Any redundant topics will be locked or deleted. Post your comment/question to the most appropriate place. Any posts deemed to be in the wrong forum will be moved.

Use proper quotations. If you wish to use the words of someone else, quote them or citing the source. Plagiarism is unethical and person should be treated with utmost respect.

Choose an appropriate subject line. Try to summarize the problem briefly in the subject, and elaborate in the message itself. Repeat the subject in the body if it will make things clearer. Avoid caps and do not add false information just to get attention (e.g. Helmet for FREE!).

Include as much information as you can when seeking help. This may include logs and command line output. Nobody will be able to help you if you don't give sufficient detail.

Ask Questions The Smart Way. If you need help, ask them with respect. You have no right to demand or to force everybody to answer you.

NO posting of sites that contains adult content, sexually oriented material or might otherwise be considered offensive. Any post containing an inappropriate link will be deleted and member will be reprimanded.

NO SPAMMING. SPAM includes unsolicited advertisements, flooding of the boards, inappropriate or illegal content, thread hijacking, and cross-posting of topics. Persistent violations will result in a ban. We have the right to delete all posts / topics of persons engaging in the above mentioned scenarios. This also applies to Private Messaging.

No commercial advertising is permitted. Posting of banners or any form of advertising without a prior notice or permission from administrator will be deleted immediately and reprimanded.

If you feel a post violates any of these rules, or you need to bring it to the attention of a moderator or Admin, please use the ‘report to moderator’ link or PM the moderators or Admin.

This is NOT the place to settle a personal disagreements or grudges from any member or websites. Any posts deemed to be of this nature will be removed without prior notice. Settle your arguments privately or in other venue.

Moderators are constantly monitoring the discussion forum. If you break the rules, the moderator has the right to remove part or all of your post without warning. If you repeatedly break the rules, you may be reprimanded and possibly get banned from this site.
Signatures

Should NOT contain excessive animations.

Only one signature per member is allowed.

Should NOT contain any obscene or pornographic images.

Only allowed to use 1 horizontal image sizes. Banner or Half Banner size.

Should NOT have a URL or link to other sites.

Should NOT contain any pricing, sales, products or advertisements.

Should NOT contain too many smilies or animated smiley.

Maximum font size cannot be larger than normal. Must be kept to a maximum of four lines.

Should not contain links to other threads or posts for the purpose of self promotion.

Any signature that is offensive or insulting to us, our members, or our staff, is prohibited and will be reprimanded.

We reserve the right to change and/or remove your signature at any time if we find it violating our rules.

Your signature is your signature. It is not for sale or rent. Signatures are privileges, NOT a right, so don’t abuse it.

Posting Photos

Should NOT contain any obscene or pornographic images. (e.g. Topless girls, full body nude, private parts or sexual acts).

Should NOT contain any pricing, sales, products or advertisements. Posting of commercial advertising posters or banners is only allowed if a prior notice from the Administrator was done.

Should follow the maximum size of 400 pixel X 400 pixel per photo. Photos that have exceeded the maximum size will be edited without prior notice.

Avatars should not show a name of a company, competitive website, website address, pornographic names or gestures, negative actions or gestures, profanity, cursing names or words, relating to religion or god names.
Usernames

As per General Rule #1, only one account per person is permitted, therefore usernames also applies.

Changing of Usernames can be requested from the Administrator only if a member has a valid reason.

Changing of usernames can only be done once to avoid confusion.

Usernames should not identify a name of a company, competitive website, website address, pornographic names or gestures, negative actions or gestures, profanity, cursing names or words, relating to religion or god names.

Your Usernames are important and no member has the ability to use the same usernames. Cebu Bikers site is featured with a username check before completing the registration.

Any abuse to their usernames or these rules shall be reprimanded and can result to a ban.
Account Privacy & Confidentiality

As a registered member, you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions and read our Privacy Policy of this site. Therefore, you are responsible for your posts in any form in this site.

We have personal profiles that contain detailed personal information and contact numbers, User list; however these are not viewable to the public to protect your security and confidentiality.

Anything you post in the forum that contains your personal or private information is your sole responsibility and Cebu Bikers.com will not be liable for any actions or results thereafter.

Our forums have public and private categories/threads. That means any confidential information you post in the public forums is your sole responsibility.

We strongly discourage you to post personal or private information in our forums, especially in our public forums, to avoid misuse or illegal distribution of your profile. Use your personal profiles to store private contact numbers, emails or any information about your account.
Failure to abide by these rules may result in a negative moderation, deletion of your post without prior notice and reprimanded which can ban you from accessing this website. We reserve the right to ban abusers from the site who do not follow our rules. We reserve the right to change these rules at any time without prior notice.
