The riders busied themselves mingling with the kids (there were 64 of them, the others left because of the rain), preparing the giveaways and the snacks. Alex and Zee facilitated the games. All in all it was a very rewarding experience. We can never forget the smiles on the childrens' faces, their joy in every game they won and the gratitude they expressed when we left. We were very grateful to them also for giving us this opportunity to experience Christmas with them, sharing in their warmth and joy while doing something that we greatly enjoy - RIDES. Indeed, Christmas is more than just the gifts from the store. It's all about sharing what little we have, and being grateful for friends, family and the blessings we received.
